Impact of our New Commission Rates For Buyers and Sellers

I'm cutting my REALTOR® commission rate in half. Yes, half. And here's why.

Full Service REALTOR® for Buyers or Sellers

After 36 years of helping Buyers and Sellers in the Charleston area, I've decided that it's time to pay it forward. I'm cutting my commission rate in half. Yes, half. And here's why.

I'm at a point in my career that I can now afford to compete with the large brokerage companies who are burdened by broker splits, office overhead and high operating expenses. You see, I've figured out how to downsize all my unnecessary overhead in a really big way. I'm no longer training new agents or paying for fancy downtown office space. This frees me up to do what I do best----selling real estate.

In the past, most discount brokers offered a lower rate in exchange for limited services, sub-par marketing and no representation. However, I am offering my 36 years of experience as an agent and Broker in Charge at about half of my firm's prior rates. The only downside is that in order to maintain my high standards of service, I must limit my clientele to a manageable number. So once I feel that my plate is full, I will not take on new clients until I have room in my schedule. Of utmost importance to me is that I maintain my high standards of service in exchange for a fee of 1.5% of the sale price.

So if you're thinking about buying or selling in the greater Charleston Tri-County market, give me a call. We can meet for coffee to see if we're a good fit.

I'm looking forward to meeting you and paying it forward at this point in my career. I am proud to offer a low commission to list your home in the Charleston area while providing high-level full-service real estate brokerage.

We will recommend that the Seller be willing to pay a Buyer Broker (2.5 to 3%) for bringing the Buyer and working that side of the real estate transaction. The choice is yours. Remember, real estate commissions are always negotiable and are not established by law.
